Ocio Design Group proudly partnered on the design of Municipal's flagship store in Oceanside, the premier destination for Mark Wahlberg's performance apparel brand. Founded by Wahlberg in 2020 with Harry Arnett and Stephen Levinson, Municipal has become a top-tier name in apparel and accessories, rooted in strong principles and a commitment to active lifestyles.​

Housed in a meticulously restored historic building on South Coast Highway, OCIO designed the two-story, 16,300-square-foot flagship redefines retail. Anchored by a 6,000-square-foot store, it integrates style, functionality, and community with features like a café, barber shop, studio, and office spaces.

The Look:

This design-forward hub sets a new standard for experiential retail, embodying the brand’s active sports utility ethos. Beyond offering retail, it delivers a holistic lifestyle experience that reflects Wahlberg's dedication to health, performance, and connection, establishing itself as a vibrant center for the brand and the community.​
